Laboratories are located in Ajdovščina (Slovenia), in the building of the University of Nova Gorica (Google Maps).
Accommodation
A single room accommodation can be found in Hotel Gold Club, which is within 10 minutes walking distance from the laboratory building. There are several other accommodations available:
- a 3-star hotel Hotel Gold Club, with 8 double and 7 twin rooms (best option)
- a Youth hostel with 4, 6 and 8 bed rooms.

Travel to Ajdovščina
Ajdovščina is situated in the west part of Slovenia, approximately 30km away from Trieste. The closest airport is the Trieste airport-TRS (50km). A shuttle connects airports with the venue – Booking required. Public transport connection is routed through Gorizia-Nova Gorica (more instructions are given below)
Other airports around are: Ljubljana airport-LJU (100km), Venice airport-VCE (150km) and Treviso airport-TSF (160km). Ajdovščina is reachable from all airports with bus/train taxi and shuttle, which is probably the most convenient option. Several shuttle transports exists: TUAM, GoOpti, Nomago,… Using public transport: From Ljubljana airport there is bus connection from Ljubljana airport to Ljubljana and then to Ajdovščina. From Trieste airport there is a bus connection from Trieste airport to Gorizia train station. From there, there is bus to Nova Gorica bus station. From Nova Gorica bus station, there is bus connection to Ajdovščina bus station. There is train connection from Treviso and Venice airport to Gorizia train station. There is a city bus from Gorizia train station to Nova Gorica bus station, where a bus to Ajdovščina can be found.
